File Format

  • Press-Ready PDF (Preferred)
  • Adobe Illustrator (Outline fonts and embed linked images)
  • Adobe InDesign (Packaged with all fonts & graphics)
  • Adobe PhotoShop (300 dpi or higher)

Convert all text to outlines (paths or curves) whenever possible. This eliminates font problems associated with the variety of fonts that have the same name. If not converted, please include the fonts with your file.

The files color must match quoted colors. Images must be CMYK, Grayscale or Pantone Matching System, and not RGB.

All raster images must have a minimum of 300 dpi (dots per inch) resolution and be provided in CMYK mode – and not RGB. The images designed for the web are usually at a low screen resolution of 72 dpi and are not suitable for printing.

If your artwork goes to the edge of the document, an 1/8″ (.125″) bleed is required.

All critical elements (Logos, images, text, etc.) must be kept at least 1/16″ (.0625″) away from the edge of the product and any punches. Anything too close to the edge or punches may be cut off during trimming.
